20 Amazingly Interesting YouTube Facts in 2016

Facts Those You Don't Know About YouTube.

Watch On YouTube -

1.YouTube was founded by Chad Hurley, Steven Chen, and Jawed Karim, former employees of PayPal, an online commerce website. They registered the domain name in February 2005. It was officially launched in December of that year.

2.In October 2006, Google bought YouTube for $1.65 billion in stocks, just18 months after YouTube’s creation. Karim received $66 million in Google stock, Chen received $310 million, and Hurley received $334 million.

3.400 Hours Of Video Per Minute

YouTube’s statistics at the end of 2015 claim that more than 400 hours of video was uploaded to the site per minute. ReelSEO forecasts that this could already have increased to as much as 500 hours of video per minute.

4.One-Third of the World on YouTube

At over one billion users, YouTube has over a third of the entire population of the Internet as users. That creates quite a diverse, multicultural melting pot of activity!

5.Most-Watched Non-Music Video: Charlie Bit My Finger

You must have seen it (almost everyone else has!): Charlie, well, he bites. At 833,698,293 plays and rising, these two adorable brothers have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars for that little moment. And they’re not even out of school yet!

6.Half of YouTube’s Viewers Are on Mobile

Actually, it’s more than half. You might think you’re an average viewer, sitting there at your computer or laptop. But most of YouTube’s viewers are actually on a smartphone or tablet, probably hiding in their bedroom.

So, keep that in mind when you’re considering adding annotations to your videos, as mobile viewers can’t use these. Use cards instead.

7.It’s All Because of a Wardrobe Malfunction

After the Superbowl event where Janet Jackson had her famous Wardrobe malfunction, Jawed Karim found himself wondering “Why can’t I see this footage anywhere?”. And this is why YouTube was invented. Yes, we owe it all to one exposed breast.

8.You Can Play Snake When Buffering

Those moments when YouTube is buffering? Press an arrow key to start a game of snake. So cool!

9.“Hello” Got Over 100 Million Views in Five Days

Five days is all Adele took to get to 100 million views on YouTube, making “Hello” the fastest video of 2015 to reach that number. It’s the second-fastest video to reach that figure, with Psy’s “Gentleman” reaching the mark in only four days. Adele actually hit the 50 million mark with “Hello” in the first 48 hours, making it the biggest YouTube video debut of 2015 and one of the biggest debuts of all time.

10.Minecraft is King

Cutting out vague searches like “music” and “movies”, the top YouTube searches were for “Minecraft”, “Frozen”, “Drake”, “Beyonce”, “PewDiePie”, “Happy” and “Eminem”, with Minecraft topping the bill at a huge 75%. The Observer predicts that we’re now reaching an Internet dystopia where we all watch other people living their lives.

11.Most Watched Video is Gangnam Style

Gangnam style is the most watched video ever, currently sitting on just under 2.5 billion views. I’m guessing a lot of views came from people musing over the following fact.

12.Gangnam Style Passed YouTube’s Original Count Limit

Psy’s Gangnam Style video very nearly hit the 2,147,483,647 play count limit in YouTube’s code. The coders were forced to quickly rewrite a few things to change the play count limit, so we can all aim for 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 plays now. Is that high enough for you?

13.YouTube Started as a Dating Site

Presumably co-founders Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim weren’t quite satisfied after finally seeing the Wardrobe Malfunction incident, as they started YouTube as a dating site. If you don’t believe me, check out the Wayback Machine’s archived version of the 2005 YouTube. Apparently it was based on the “Hot or Not” site, but it didn’t really catch on.

14.No-One Knew Who This Popular YouTuber Was

FunToyzCollector unboxes the sorts of glitzy Disney and Play Doh toys that no-one buys because they’re just fancy versions of something your kids already have. This is possibly the key to why people watch videos of her opening up the boxes and checking the toys out.

What do we definitely know about this person? Not much at all: she has cool nails and earns a LOT of money. Although Daily Mail is certain that the person behind the account is Daiane DeJesus, also known as porn star Sandy Summers. No, she hasn’t confirmed this.

15.30% of Videos Account for 99% of Traffic

In April of 2011, a YouTube software engineer revealed that almost all of YouTube’s traffic came from 30% of the videos. It’s possible that this statistic hasn’t changed much since then, as lots of people are just uploading videos to share with family and friends.

16.The First Video Was “Me At The Zoo”

On of the co-founders, Jawed Karim, uploaded the very first video on YouTube on 23rd April 2005. It’s basically just him checking out some elephants at the San Diego Zoo.

17.Everyone’s Uploading Cat Videos

You thought that was a joke, right? It’s not. Well, not entirely.

Pew Research says that out of the Americans who uploaded a video in 2013, 45% of them claimed to have uploaded at least one video of their pet or some other animal. They didn’t ask how many videos of cats this included, but who uploads JUST ONE video of their cat?

18.In 2007, it was estimated that YouTube used as much bandwidth as the entire Internet did in 2000

19.YouTube broadcasts about 1/3 of the U.S.’s multimedia entertainment

20.In September 2005, Brazilian soccer star Ronaldinho’s Nike ad “Touch of gold” became the first YouTube video to be viewed 1 million times.

20 Rankings Tom Hanks Film From Worst To Best.

20 Rankings Of Tom Hanks Films From Worst To Best- Tom Hanks Worst And Best Of The Best

With September comes “Sully,” a biographical drama about airline pilot Chesley Sullenberger’s emergency landing on New York’s Hudson River. The Sept. 9 film marks the annual shift from summer blockbusters to Oscar hopefuls, from popcorn action to dialogue-driven drama.
“Sully” is also Tom Hanks’ 52nd feature film, yet another chapter in one of Hollywood’s most successful, storied careers. Hanks has been a cinematic force for four straight decades, proving to be one of the industry’s most versatile stars. Whether he’s playing a child in an adult’s body (“Big,” 1988), an intellectually disabled dreamer (“Forrest Gump,” 1994) or a rootin’-tootin’ cowboy (“Toy Story,” 1995), Hanks has established himself as a favorite among both critics and casual moviegoers.
In honor of “Sully,” PrettyFamous — an entertainment research site from Graphiq — set out to rank all 51 of Hanks’ feature films. While Hanks is the star of most of these movies, the list will also include films where Hanks played a supporting role.
The team used six data points to assign each Hanks flick a Smart Rating on a scale of 0 to 100.

1. Rotten Tomatoes' Critic Tomatometer
2. Rotten Tomatoes' Audience Score
3. Metacritic's Metascore
4. IMDb Rating
5. Gracenote's movie rating
6. U.S. box office performance (inflation-adjusted)
The top of the list includes a mix of Oscar winners and animated features (hint: “There’s a snake in my boot!"). Hanks earned a best actor Academy Award for two of the top 10 — both of which were released in the 1990s. History will likely come to judge this decade as Hanks’ peak, a 10-year period that included “Philadelphia,” “Toy Story,” “Apollo 13,” “Forrest Gump” and “Saving Private Ryan."
Still, Hanks’ portfolio includes a handful of more recent critical and commercial successes, including “Captain Phillips” (2013) and “Bridge of Spies” (2015). No doubt Warner Bros. executives hope “Sully” winds up joining this group, rather than a pile of earlier flops (see “The Ladykillers” or “Larry Crowne").
In a testament to the actor’s star power, Tom Hanks films routinely do well in the box office, whether they’re critically dismissed or acclaimed. As such, even several films at the bottom of the list will nonetheless be commercial successes (see “Angels & Demons” or “The Da Vinci Code”).
Let’s start with Tom Hanks’ worst film, then count up to the best of the best.

Dressing room Fun- Bangladesh Under Sixteen women's Team Dancing, cheer...

Bangladesh under-16 Women's team celebrating their win over Singapore.

This video shows the Dressing room Fun- of Bangladesh Under Sixteen women's Team  Dancing, cheering, Celebrations win ober Singapore.

BAFUFE did great job by these lovely little footballers. they are the champion of AFC Under-16 Women championship qualifier for our Bangladesh. A glorious moment for Bangladeshi football fans.

It is quite remarkable to think that only twelve years later the game has brought about one of the most glorious moments of Bangladesh's sporting history as the Bangladesh under-16 women's were placed among the eight best Asian teams. The game had stuttered quite a few times in those 12 intervening years, but there were sure signs of progress. Those little steps -- the nationwide staging of Bangamata Gold Cup, the women's national team players going for overseas stints, and back-to-back AFC U-14 Zonal Women's Championship titles -- culminated at the Big Bowl last night. Bangladesh surely has turned a corner.

World's Top 20 Healthiest Countries & Their Food | You May Surprise To...

What the world’s healthiest countries eat may surprise you.

Using data published in The Lancet from the Socio-Demographic Index, which assesses a number of health risks across 188 countries, we count down the world’s healthiest countries and take a look at what people there really eat and drink.

 20.New Zealand:

Barbecues are a big part of Kiwi culture, meaning healthy eating often comes in the form of fresh fish and shellfish, which is grilled on the barbie, retaining all of its natural goodness.

19.Estonia:

Traditionally, Estonian cuisine has been based on meat and potatoes, with fish featuring highly in seaside areas. But other popular ingredients are beetroot, cabbage and carrots, as well as rye bread and dairy products.

18.Japan:

With one of the highest life expectancies in the world, research has linked health in Japan to a diet high in certain carbs, vegetables, fruits, fish and meat. Most people would assume rice to be a bad food, but the Japanese are certainly testament to this being untrue with one of the lowest obesity rates in the world.

17.Greece:

The Mediterranean diet is well-known as being one of the world’s healthiest, featuring fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and dairy, as well as olive oil as the main source of fat. Of course the occasional glass of red wine is consumed too!

16.Slovenia:

Typically, Slovenian food can be very heavy, meaty and plain and the nation’s most popular drink is beer; not the most perfect recipe for health. But in coastal cities, local specialties are fish, squid, mussels and octopus and in cities residents can be found dining on plenty of salads and chicken.

15.France:

Breads, meats, cheese and pastries – how can they possibly be healthy, right? The French paradox has always been pretty puzzling. However, quantity is key in France. Yes, locals do indulge in croissants, rich cheese and gallons of vino, but they do so in small portions.

14.Israel:

Some of the most common ingredients in the Israeli diet include chickpeas, couscous, as well as oranges and even avocados. The mix of food-types keeps the Israeli diet varied and balanced.

13.Portugal:

Portuguese cuisine is famous for its seafood, notably salt cod and clams, which are a product of the nation’s well-developed fishing industry.

12.Brunei:

Often spicy, the Bruneian diet provides plenty of flavors and plenty of fresh fish. Rice dishes are incredibly popular, making the diet quite carb-heavy, but alcohol is banned due to the Islamic religion.

11.Italy:

While dough-based dishes are served throughout the country, Italian cuisine is also based on the Mediterranean diet, meaning locals get to eat plenty of fresh fish and salads, as well as the all-important good fats in olive oil.

10.Belgium:

Belgian dishes include leeks, shrimp and asparagus, so fresh food is always on hand.

9.Cyprus:

The Cypriot diet is, in most parts, very healthy. Key ingredients include lots of fresh vegetables such as zucchini, okra, green beans, artichokes, carrots and tomatoes. That’s not to mention all the pulses, such as chickpeas, lentils and beans.

8.Germany:

Surprisingly, it’s not all bratwurst and schnitzel in Germany. But it is all cheese and breads. The German diet is notoriously unhealthy, but for some reason, Germany isn’t a particularly obese nation. Why? We suspect it’s down to good exercise.

7.Luxembourg:

Taking inspiration from the French, Luxembourg has many sweet delicacies such as cake, fruit pies and patisseries. But aside from these unhealthy treats, the local rivers are a great source for lots of fresh fish, keeping the diet light in most parts – apart from the wine and beer of course.

6.Norway:

Much like Sweden and Denmark, the Norwegian diet is true to Scandinavian minimalism. It is also full of raw ingredients brought in from the Norwegian mountains and coast, such as local fish and meat.

 5.Australia:

Like the Kiwis, Aussies love a good barbeque and eating fresh, grilled food. But their healthy diet also comes from the availability of organic and biodynamic foods, as well as regional produce.

4.Canada:

Food is arguably not the reason Canada is one of the healthiest countries in the world. With staple dishes such as maple syrup, poutine and bacon, fat levels are high. But it somehow manages to make up for it elsewhere, with good overall health and plenty of exercise.

3.Finland:

Finnish cuisine features a lot of pastry and meat; hearty, wholesome meals that are filling as well as tasty.  Water and coffee are also the most common drinks in Finland, meaning alcohol levels are kept quite low.

2.UK:

Homegrown produce is the reason the UK has managed to slip into the top five, as most ingredients are grown and sourced from within the country. Seasonal foods are also key, and most restaurants serve residents produce that is fit for the particular season.

 1.Iceland:

Fish is a key part of the Icelandic life, notably wild salmon, haddock and herring – all of which are full of essential fatty acids.
